The artist who designed our beautiful BFWN logo is holding an exhibition in north Norfolk this month.

As you will see, our logo which was painted by artist Jonathan Yule, comprises a bumble bee feeding on one of our distinctive Breckland wildflowers.
Much of our current work is centred on maintaining and improving habitats for pollinators and other insects, especially in cultivated field margins. This of course benefits other biodiversity too. But our target beneficial and rare insects rely on a range of food plants some of which may be conspicuous at flowering. Or they may have more modest life cycles and live, supporting life, almost unrecognised and often unappreciated.
Jonathan Yule is extending an invitation to his latest exhibition at Burnham Overy Staithe Boathouse, North Norfolk. It opens on the 8th August and welcomes art lovers daily from 10am – 5.30pm until 15th August. Do take the opportunity. If you cannot get there in person then you can enjoy the exhibition online at www.jonathanyule.com.
