After a year of workshops and discussions BFWN has submitted the final report to DEFRA for the Test & Trial in Landscape Recovery. We are very grateful to the many speakers who helped out at the workshops and all the farmers who contributed to the report. Many thanks to our partner Dr James Gilroy, from the University of East Anglia, who led the development of a simple monitoring protocol for long term, large scale assessment of cultivated margins in the Brecks. This can be used by farmers or volunteers and will be trialled this season. If you would like to receive all the documents associated with the report including the separate report from James please contact BFWN via the contact page. Photo credit, John Secker.
