Lucy Hatcher and Pip Goodwin started work with the BFWN at the beginning of April to jointly manage the Landscape Recovery project and take on the group’s coordinator role. Lucy previously worked for Natural England as an agri-environment and protected sites adviser in the Brecks, and Pip joins from the RSPB’s Policy & Advocacy Department and as is also a volunteer with the Breckland Flora Group. The Landscape Recovery project is in a 2 year development phase, with the ambition to create a mosaic of different habitats throughout the productive farmed landscape, targeted to benefit several high priority species, and informed by the Breckland Biodiversity Audit data.
